Glasgow Open 2015

A cloudless Saturday18-19 April 2015, Kelvingrove

The Glasgow Open was held at Kelvingrove on the 18th and 19th April. There were 3 visitors from Edinburgh and 3 from Glasgow;  we enjoyed lovely weather on Saturday although Sunday was rather chilly due to a cold wind.

The handicaps ranged from -0.5 to 14.  Alistair Malcolm enjoyed his experience and said that he learned a lot. Brian Durward is back playing in events and enjoyed 3 wins from his 5 games. John and Campbell played their last match having won all their games to that point, Campbell won a close contest with both players hitting in well.

The manager managed to make a mess of the last two rounds and needed three rounds on Sunday due to leaving Alan Wilson to play both Campbell and John, plus Campbell and John had to play each other.
