Walker Cup 2014

23 August 2014, Meadows

The Walker Cup was won by Alistair Malcolm, who was just one net point ahead of George Geis.   Open to players of handicap 10 and over the competition was played to handicap rules in four rounds with the winner being decided first on number of wins and then on net points.   A couple of the games in the last round were concluded by mutual agreement before the time limit, but those results didn't affect the overall winner.   No player was undefeated.    Joining Alistair and George on three wins were Chris Martin and the manager Roger Binks.
